God's destiny for a mortal...

The indescribable innocence and beneficence of Nature, -- of sun and wind and rain, of summer and winter, -- such health, such cheer, they afford forever! and such sympathy have they ever with our race, that all Nature would be affected, and the sun's brightness fade, and the winds would sigh humanely, and the clouds rain tears, and the woods shed their leaves and put on mourning in midsummer, if any man should ever for a just cause grieve. Shall I not have intelligence with the earth? Am I not partly leaves and vegetable mould myself?

what did "EDU-banking" do?

We the team "kites" began working on our project on 13th of jan '09. we started by seeking permission from various school authorities and once we sought their grants, presenting in schools was next big task. reaching to one school's crowd per day, we could educate 800+ students about 'banking'. Also provided the school students with an option to open savings bank accounts and the number of account holding students, just in a span of 14 days, reached a whopping number of 199!! This is how i define my success in first project brought me immense satisfaction that came wid dedication, persistence n hard work...."NO ELEVATORS TO SUCCESS"...

Hello all...,talking all about the project I with my team "KITES" had taken up under the LEAD program of DESHPANDE FOUNDATION. Now to tell you in detail about the project "EDUbanking"..,

MISSION

• to make all the higher secondary school students of HUBLI banking literates
• to see at the end of this project, every higher secondary student holding a savings bank accounts in their own names.

• lastly, to imbibe a habit of saving in every school-going kid.

ORIGIN OF EDUbanking:
The basic idea that the team had before conceiving the idea of banking education to school students was to set up a career guidance help-desk to higher secondary kids. Then the ideology was modified and it took the shape of "EDU-banking".
